It was brought to my attention from a few clients over the past couple of weeks that any passports do not have 1 years validity left on them then the Thai Immigration will not renew their long stay visa, retirement visa, marriage visa etc to stay in Thailand until a new passport has been obtained, now this could be a storm in a tea cup but do not take the chance as I have heard it also said so my advice is renew your passport and do not leave it until the last minute to do so, you do not have to worry about obtaining the passport yourself and sending the application to Hong Kong as we do everything for you at Key Visa you can read more at http:///www.keyvisathailand.com/services/renewing-uk-passports-in-thailand/
