Changes to Australian Visa application forms
When applying for a tourist visa for a Thai national to visit Australia the correct form is called a 48R THA which is a form that is used for Thai nationals only and hence the THA after the 48R prefix, this should not be mixed up with the standard 48R form which is widely used by most countries for a tourist visa to Australia.
If you attend the VFS Global to submit your application with a 48R form you will be asked to re write a whole new form 48R THA which is time consuming and frustrating so get the correct form before you attend.
You can obtain the form two ways either you can attend the VFS Global in person and take away a new form or you can download an application form from the websites of the VFS Global or the Australian Embassy but don’t forget 48R THA.
